Our story

A Sixth Street original

Friends has lived inside this red-brick building at Sixth and Brazos since 2002. Locals call it their spot, and visitors in town for SXSW, ACL, F1 and the convention center find us because the music spills right out the green doors.

We're walking distance from most downtown hotels, the bands play from lunch until last call, and we've never charged a cover. Austin calls itself the Live Music Capital of the World. This is where you hear it.
